For most of us, large commercial trucks may be a slow-moving nuisance in traffic. However, if it weren’t for these modern-day beasts of burden, the comfortable, convenient way of life we often take for granted would come to a screeching halt. Not only do large trucks bring just about every conceivable household item to shelves but so-called “vocational” are the workhorses of the construction and repair industry. To serve drivers and operators in that segment, International Trucks is launching its new HX line of vocational trucks, specially designed for concrete, dump, heavy haul, and crane applications. The HX is the first all-new truck from International since 2010.

Classified as a Class-8 commercial truck, the HX series replaces the PayStar in International’s lineup. The all-new design has a special focus on driver comfort and convenience, as well as class-leading uptime. To help vocational truck drivers get their jobs done, the HX features multiple wheelbase and axle configurations specifically suited for particular applications such as concrete mixer, construction dump, crane truck, and refuse roll-off.
