DAIMLER TRUCK Holding AG (DAIMLER TRUCK) has released its financial results for the second quarter of 2026 and raised its full-year guidance for 2026, anticipating accelerated profit growth in the second half of the year. The upward revision of the full-year guidance is primarily driven by improved sales expectations in the North American truck business and a reduction in the negative impact of tariffs.
At the group level, profitability in the second quarter continued to be affected by tariff factors, but operational performance has begun to improve, with the pace of recovery expected to accelerate significantly in the third quarter. Industrial business revenue rose to EUR 11.4 billion, with group adjusted EBIT of EUR 838 million and an industrial business adjusted return on sales of 6.8%. In the second quarter, both group sales and new order intake increased year-on-year, with group sales reaching 86,707 units and new orders totaling 74,448 units. Among these, sales volumes in both the Mercedes‑Benz Trucks and North American truck business segments increased year-on-year.

DAIMLER TRUCK has raised its full-year 2026 guidance: group adjusted EBIT is now expected to be in the range of EUR 3.6 to 4.1 billion, up from the previous range of EUR 3.2 to 3.7 billion. Group sales are now projected at 340,000 to 370,000 units, up from 330,000 to 360,000 units. Industrial business revenue is expected to be EUR 43.0 to 47.0 billion, up from EUR 42.0 to 46.0 billion. The industrial business adjusted return on sales is now forecast at 7% to 9%, up from 6% to 8%. Industrial business free cash flow is projected at EUR 3.0 to 3.5 billion, up from EUR 2.7 to 3.2 billion.
This updated guidance is based on the company's current assessment of the market environment and does not account for potential impacts from future changes in tariff policies, macroeconomic conditions, or geopolitical developments.
