On September 4, the Yantai Municipal Transportation Bureau, together with SINOTRUK Group, held a promotional conference for the coordinated development of the NEW ENERGY heavy-duty truck industry. More than 180 freight companies from the city attended, and industrial chain enterprises such as SINOTRUK and WEICHAI Power came for matchmaking.

At the conference, the "Special Action Plan to Increase the Penetration Rate of NEW ENERGY Heavy-duty Trucks" was officially released, introducing a total of 18 support measures across three aspects. These measures focus on addressing the real pain points of logistics enterprises, such as "cannot afford to buy, cannot afford to use, and cannot travel far," and offer a comprehensive set of localized support policies covering vehicle procurement, battery integration, battery-swapping charging, operational ecosystems, and financial services. The conference established a platform for production-application communication and cooperation, promoting in-depth connections between freight companies and upstream and downstream entities in heavy-duty truck manufacturing, energy, and finance, thereby stimulating the enthusiasm of transportation enterprises to update and purchase NEW ENERGY heavy-duty trucks.

This conference implements the relevant deployments for the green and low-carbon transformation of transportation. Leveraging the local foundation of charging infrastructure construction, and through the collaborative efforts of policies, industry, and finance, it accelerates the replacement process of NEW ENERGY heavy-duty trucks in port, mining, and trunk-line freight scenarios, helping the regional freight industry reduce carbon emissions and improve efficiency.
