On September 5, the Guangdong Provincial Department of Transport announced that the Highway and Waterway Special Task Force under the Provincial Investment Promotion Leading Group has convened multiple coordination meetings, visited key central state-owned enterprises such as China Railway South and CCCC Fourth Harbor Engineering, and collaborated between government and enterprises to address project bottlenecks, aiming to fully complete the annual highway and waterway transport investment targets to support the province's overall stable investment environment.

　　On August 31, a provincial-level highway and waterway investment coordination video conference reported on the rectification of projects under the "Red and Yellow Card" system, conducting investment coordination for multiple cities including Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Foshan. On September 3, a special promotion meeting clarified the timeline for six planned expressway projects, ensuring their on-schedule commencement and generating more physical workload while maintaining safety and quality.

　　The Provincial Department of Transport held talks with central enterprises to accelerate projects such as the Huizhou-Zhaoqing Expressway, Yangshan-Xinyi Expressway, and Qingyuan-Zhuhai Expressway, encouraging enterprises to participate in expressway stock renovation, service area upgrades, and road corridor economy development. The transport department will provide approval and coordination support to jointly advance the implementation of Guangdong's transport power province and the "15th Five-Year Plan" comprehensive transport planning.
