On September 8, the official website of the Ministry of Transport announced that Sichuan, Hubei, and Ningxia completed the interconnection of expressway charging service platforms, opening up the "Southwest-Central China-Northwest" high-speed charging corridor, addressing the challenge of long-distance cross-provincial energy replenishment for NEW ENERGY vehicles.

Previously, the high-speed charging systems of the three provinces were independent of each other, and NEW ENERGY trucks and private cars traveling across provinces needed to switch between multiple charging applications, making the process cumbersome. This interconnection breaks down geographical barriers and platform information silos, allowing car owners to use any of the "Shu Dao Chang Chong+", "Chu Dao Yi Neng", or "E-Bo Shi" platforms to complete one-stop operations, including querying charging pile status, navigation to find piles, scanning codes for charging, and unified settlement.

The three provinces have prioritized connecting core charging stations at expressway service areas, simplifying the cross-provincial energy replenishment process and alleviating range anxiety for long-distance operations of NEW ENERGY heavy trucks and other commercial vehicles. This move addresses bottlenecks in regional green transportation, supports the coordinated development of transportation and energy in Sichuan, Hubei, and Ningxia, lays a solid foundation for charging infrastructure to promote NEW ENERGY freight transport on central and western expressways, and promotes the green integrated development of regional transportation.
