China's logistics industry prosperity index reached 50.9%, up 0.5 percentage points month-on-month. Industry operations remained in the expansion range, and market expectations showed positive changes.

By segment, in industrial logistics, logistics demand for manufacturing such as electrical machinery, auto parts, and electronic components grew, while bulk energy logistics operations stabilized; consumer logistics, driven by the back-to-school season and the trade-in policy, saw increased logistics activity related to home furnishings and 3C products. The total business volume of road transport, railway, multimodal transport, and postal and express delivery maintained expansion. The August business activity expectation index was 54.4%, up 1.6 percentage points month-on-month, and industry enterprises' confidence in the future market strengthened; the logistics industry fixed asset investment completed amount index was 53.7%, and investment vitality continued to be released.
In the second half of the year, with the implementation of special bonds and ultra-long-term treasury bonds, together with the issuance of the "Logistics Network Construction Implementation Plan," major logistics hubs and infrastructure are being advanced at a faster pace, and the policy guidance effect is gradually emerging. At the same time, it should be noted that cost pressures on small, medium, and micro logistics enterprises remain, profitability is under pressure, and road freight enterprises still need continued relief. Overall, the coordinated improvement of logistics supply and demand provides demand support for the commercial vehicle and freight industries.
