SAIC MAXUS Supports Kashgar Public Welfare Initiative: Mobile Dialysis Vehicles Deployed at the Grassroots to Safeguard Borderland People's Health

　　On September 9, the handover ceremony of smart mobile hemodialysis vehicles and the launch ceremony of medium- and long-term clinical research were held in Kashgar, Xinjiang. SAIC MAXUS joined hands with Sunwin Bus to support the delivery, deployment, and after-sales service support of these smart mobile hemodialysis vehicles. A batch of mobile dialysis vehicles was officially handed over to the Second People's Hospital of Kashgar Prefecture, building a "mobile lifeline" at the doorstep for patients with end-stage renal disease in remote areas of Xinjiang.

　　Kashgar has a vast territory and scattered township sites. It is inconvenient for grassroots residents to travel back and forth to urban areas for dialysis treatment, and "Dialysis is far away, and dialysis is difficult" is a prominent local livelihood problem. This project is a key people-benefiting project in Shanghai's new round of medical aid to Xinjiang. The smart mobile hemodialysis platform was developed through technical research by Renji Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine together with Guoxin Network Security (Shanghai) Big Data Technology Co., Ltd. In response to the complex road conditions and diagnosis and treatment scenarios at the grassroots in border areas, SAIC MAXUS and Sunwin Bus completed special vehicle adaptation and deployment for the entire dialysis medical system, supporting the advancement of the public welfare project with industrial strength.

　　It is reported that mobile dialysis vehicles integrate a complete dialysis diagnosis and treatment system and supporting facilities, and are equipped with a telemedicine platform, enabling doctors in Shanghai and Kashgar to carry out collaborative diagnosis and treatment, with treatment outcomes basically consistent with fixed in-hospital equipment. In May this year, pilot vehicles were already deployed to township health centers in Bachu County to provide services, sparing local patients long-distance travel and allowing them to receive standardized dialysis treatment at their doorsteps. This batch delivery marks that the project has moved from pilot validation to the stage of scaled application. Subsequent vehicles will regularly go deep into counties and townships to provide itinerant diagnosis and treatment services for patients with limited mobility.

　　Under the collaborative mechanism of "government-led, Shanghai-developed, enterprise-supported, and hospital-implemented," Shanghai's aid to Xinjiang has shifted from simple equipment donations to long-term institutional assistance, combining cutting-edge medical technology with industrial manufacturing capabilities to effectively safeguard the health of people of all ethnic groups in border areas and practice the people's livelihood philosophy of Healthy China.
