The three exhibition vehicles cover mainstream application scenarios such as medium- and long-distance transportation, resource transportation, and intelligent trunk-line logistics, showcasing from multiple dimensions the implementation results and user value of Dongfeng Trucks in hydrogen, battery-electric, and self-developed intelligent driving technology routes.

At the event, many experts, media, and customer guests who came to the site stopped by the Dongfeng Trucks booth. It is worth noting that the three vehicles are not a simple list of technology directions, but each corresponds to a clear technology route and a real logistics operation scenario.
The DFAC Tianlong KH hydrogen fuel tractor is designed for long-distance trunk-line transportation. It is equipped with a 300kW high-power fuel cell system, has a hydrogen storage capacity of 64kg, a range of more than 700km, and hydrogen refueling takes only 20 minutes. The vehicle also balances lightweight and low energy consumption, and is equipped with multiple active safety protection structures for the hydrogen system. In trunk-line logistics scenarios, this vehicle can achieve energy replenishment efficiency close to that of fuel vehicles, so users do not need to significantly adjust their operating rhythm, providing a highly reliable and deployable zero-carbon option for long-distance trunk-line logistics.

The DFAC Tianlong KL battery-electric tractor is designed for resource transportation scenarios. It is equipped with a 422kWh high-capacity power battery, with a comprehensive range of up to 360km; the long range ensures worry-free operation. Relying on an integrated electric drive axle, it achieves excellent energy consumption performance, with energy consumption under comprehensive operating conditions as low as 1.08kWh/km, balancing long range and low energy consumption and effectively reducing vehicle operating costs. At the same time, it supports 1000A high-current dual-gun fast charging, taking less than 30 minutes to charge from 20% to 80%. The power battery has more than 4,500 cycles, supporting a vehicle operating mileage life of 1.75 million kilometers. Long range, high energy efficiency, fast charging, and long lifespan comprehensively help transportation companies improve operating efficiency and control overall costs.

The DFAC Tianlong KX intelligent trunk-line tractor points to improvements in safety and efficiency in trunk-line logistics. It has self-developed L2+ assisted driving functions, is equipped with a 1V7R perception system and ADCU intelligent driving system, supports 0-100km/h full-speed-range intelligent assisted driving, and can realize multiple functions such as ILC driver-commanded lane change, PCC predictive cruise, and full-speed-range adaptive cruise. It can reduce driver fatigue, lower safety risks caused by human operational errors, provide a cost-effective intelligent driving experience, and make long-distance transportation more reassuring and worry-free.

Overseas simultaneous release, leading the hydrogen technology race.
Beyond the real vehicle display, Dongfeng Trucks also further extended the technical logic and industrial thinking behind its products through an overseas technology release. As an important part of the overseas linkage of this Science and Technology Innovation Week, Dongfeng Trucks brought the hydrogen-powered complete vehicle DONGFENG-1 to the 72nd German Hannover International Commercial Vehicle and Parts Exhibition, showcasing to the global market the technical achievements of high-speed trunk-line hydrogen heavy trucks.
DONGFENG-1 focuses on the long range, high efficiency, and high reliability requirements of high-speed trunk-line transportation scenarios. It is equipped with a DFAC 400kW hydrogen fuel cell, with a maximum system efficiency of ≥64%, delivering outstanding power and energy consumption performance. The hydrogen storage system adopts 70MPa high-pressure technology; a single hydrogen refueling takes only 15 minutes, and the range can reach 800 kilometers, able to adapt to the operating rhythm of mainstream trunk-line logistics. The vehicle is also equipped with an L2+ intelligent assisted driving system and a highly comfortable intelligent cockpit, covering core functions such as full-speed-range adaptive cruise and lane centering control. Combined with long-distance-specific configurations such as air suspension and wide-body sleeper, it improves the safety and efficiency of trunk-line transportation while optimizing the long-distance driving experience. This technological appearance is a global display of Dongfeng Trucks' hydrogen technology achievements, conveying to the world the R&D practices of China's commercial vehicle green transformation.
