On September 14, IAA Transportation 2026 opened in Hanover. BAIC FOTON exhibited under the theme "EASY MOVE", showcasing 7 NEW ENERGY complete vehicles and 6 categories of core components on a booth of more than 1,000 square meters, the largest participation scale in FOTON's history at IAA.

The exhibited complete vehicles cover scenarios including medium- and long-haul trunk lines, urban distribution, municipal sanitation, public transport, and multi-purpose vehicles, with power types including battery electric, hydrogen fuel, and plug-in hybrid. Also exhibited on the same stage were core three-electric technologies and energy replenishment solutions.
Europe Strategy Accelerates Implementation: Local Assembly to Be Achieved in 2028.
Currently, FOTON's business covers more than 140 countries and regions worldwide. According to the plan released at this event, by 2030, FOTON's NEW ENERGY sales share will reach 50%, and its internationalization rate will reach 40%; its European business will continue to advance around product introduction, sales and service networks, parts supply, R&D, and local assembly.
Currently, FOTON has established sales and service networks in nearly 20 European markets, with more than 300 service outlets; it has set up a regional parts center in Germany and national parts warehouses in 17 countries including the UK, France, and Hungary. By 2028, its sales and service network is planned to cover major European markets.
R&D and manufacturing will also accelerate their extension to local operations. FOTON plans to build a European local technology center, increase local subsidiaries, and achieve European local assembly in 2028. By then, its European business will further cover R&D, assembly, parts supply, and after-sales service.
CAVAN BEACON Makes Overseas Debut: Targeting Trunk-Line Transport.
At this IAA, CAVAN BEACON made its overseas debut, focusing on medium- and long-haul trunk-line transport of more than 300 kilometers.

BEACON is developed on a native NEW ENERGY platform and is compatible with both battery electric and hydrogen fuel technology routes. Through different combinations of cab, e-axle, battery, and fuel cell, the platform can derive 15 vehicle types.
In terms of energy consumption and range, BEACON has a drag coefficient of 0.28. According to official data, overall vehicle energy consumption is reduced by 15%. Among them, the 6×4 battery electric model has a minimum electricity consumption of 115 kWh per 100 km, the 4×2 model has a minimum of 105 kWh, and the battery electric models have a range of more than 600 km; the 6×4 hydrogen fuel model has a minimum hydrogen consumption of 7.6 kg per 100 km and a range of more than 1,000 km.
The battery electric models adopt an 800V high-voltage platform and support 1.44 MW ultra-fast charging. Charging for 6 minutes can add 100 km of range, and charging from 20% to 80% takes 18 minutes; the hydrogen fuel model takes 15 minutes for hydrogen refueling and can meet a range demand of more than 1,000 km.

In terms of intelligent configuration, BEACON is equipped with an ICA/HWP combined driver assistance system, provides 22 driver assistance functions, and reserves the capability to expand to L4 autonomous driving. The cab is equipped with a 12.3-inch instrument cluster, a 15.6-inch central control screen, and an AI voice large model, and adopts four-point floating cab suspension.
In addition to BEACON, CAVAN also exhibited the Lefu battery electric mid-size VAN, which has already been launched in Europe, and released the NEW ENERGY-exclusive VAN platform CAVAN C1. The former mainly serves the European urban distribution market, while the latter will serve as a NEW ENERGY VAN-exclusive platform, providing a foundation for subsequent product development.
AUMAN Galaxy 9 PHEV: Filling the Gap in Europe's Medium- and Long-Haul Segment.
At the IAA press conference, FOTON completed the delivery of its global 13 millionth complete vehicle, the delivered model being the AUMAN Galaxy 9 PHEV plug-in hybrid heavy truck. The vehicle has completed road tests in Spain and mainly targets medium- and long-haul transport in Europe.

With the Galaxy 9 entering the European market, plus the BEACON battery electric and hydrogen fuel models making their overseas debut at this event, FOTON has formed three technology routes—battery electric, hydrogen fuel, and plug-in hybrid—for the European medium- and long-haul heavy truck market.
NEW ENERGY Medium and Light Commercial Vehicles Cover Urban Distribution and Municipal Sanitation.
Beyond medium- and long-haul trunk lines, the NEW ENERGY medium and light commercial vehicles exhibited by FOTON this time cover two major scenarios: urban distribution and municipal sanitation. Among them, the AUMARK Jidian for the urban distribution market is built on the "Qimingxing" battery electric light truck platform.

AUMARK Jidian focuses on efficient operation and intelligent experience. It supports 2C fast charging; official data shows that charging from 20% to 80% takes as little as 18 minutes; in terms of power, it adopts SiC silicon carbide electronic control and an oil-cooled flat-wire motor, with a peak power of 230 kW and maximum torque of 550 N·m, and is equipped with FBS brake-by-wire and steer-by-wire, supporting L2 combined driver assistance. The cab adopts a one-step entry design, provides 270 L of storage space inside, and the high-roof version can allow drivers and passengers up to 1.9 meters tall to lie down and rest.
For urban sanitation and municipal cleaning scenarios, FOTON brought the AUMAN EHL battery electric sweeping and washing vehicle. This vehicle is developed around the needs of high-frequency, low-entry sanitation operations and is suitable for specialized operating conditions such as urban road sweeping and municipal cleaning.
Buses, Pickups, and Core Components Complete the Full-Scenario Display.
FOTON also brought the FOTON Ouhui 12-meter battery electric city bus and the Mars 9 Supreme PHEV hybrid pickup, respectively targeting the public transport market and more composite vehicle-use scenarios.

In addition to complete vehicles, the exhibition area also centrally displays heavy-duty power batteries, heavy-duty electronic control, heavy-duty e-axles, light-duty e-axles, low-voltage electronic control vehicle control units, and megawatt-level charging piles, which together with the complete vehicle products cover power batteries, electronic control, electric drive, and energy replenishment.
