370 Million Parcels! Henan's Postal and Express Delivery Industry Achieves Steady Growth During National Day Holiday

　　On October 9, the Henan Provincial Department of Transport released data showing that during the 2026 National Day holiday, the province's postal and express delivery industry cumulatively collected and delivered 370 million express parcels, up 3.6% compared with the same period in 2025.

　　During the National Day holiday, travel and visits to relatives stimulated an active consumer market, and demand for the delivery of tourism cultural and creative products, local specialty agricultural products, and holiday gifts was released in a concentrated manner. Express delivery companies made every effort to guarantee various delivery services for local specialties, souvenirs, travel luggage, and other items. Business showed an "early low, late high" pattern, with collection volume growing significantly in the latter half of the holiday. On October 6 and 7, collection volumes reached 29.6411 million and 30.8513 million parcels respectively, up 24.97% and 16.54% year-on-year respectively. Luggage and local specialty products sent by college students returning to school and residents returning from trips became an important factor driving collection volume.
