On October 10, the global launch event of Dongfeng Trucks' all-new Green Intelligent Platform was held in Wuhan under the theme "A New Realm of Green Intelligence, Shining Together," bringing transport solutions that cover the full vehicle lifecycle and address the needs of different scenarios.

The all-new Green Intelligent Platform of Dongfeng Trucks is based on multi-energy compatibility, modular development, and intelligent technology to drive the upgrading of commercial vehicle products.

At the launch event, Yang Qing, Chairman and Party Secretary of Dongfeng Motor Group Co., Ltd., pointed out: "Dongfeng Trucks' layout and practices in recent years in NEW ENERGY, digital intelligence, and hydrogen operation ecosystems are worthy of recognition. I hope Dongfeng Trucks will take the launch of the all-new Green Intelligent Platform as an opportunity, adhere to a customer-centric approach, and continuously advance all-round iterative upgrading of new products, new technologies, new models, and new ecosystems. It should uphold the value philosophy of 'Everything Starts with Reliability' and always build reliable products and brands with hardcore technology, precision manufacturing, and sincere service to reshape its competitive advantages!"
Platform-Based Development to Meet Diverse Transport Needs.
Liu Licheng, General Manager of Dongfeng Trucks Co., Ltd., said: "Dongfeng Trucks will resolutely implement the group's strategic deployment of 'Three Leaps and One New Direction' and strive to write a new chapter of high-quality development."

Facing the critical period of deep transformation in the commercial vehicle industry, Dongfeng Trucks will use a multi-energy layout, digital intelligence capabilities, an all-new platform, and an open ecosystem to provide an overall solution through "one platform and five pillars," opening a new realm for a greener and smarter future of commercial vehicles.
One platform is the all-new Green Intelligent Platform, namely the D600 platform. After 11 parallel projects, the platform covers multiple energy routes including fuel, gas, electricity, hydrogen, and ammonia. It can adapt to 34 segmented markets and 143 typical scenarios, and is compatible with 5 major global regulatory systems and 28 key countries. Compared with "oil-to-electricity" models, models on the all-new Green Intelligent Platform can reduce energy consumption by 8%.

Trunk line logistics, regional transport, and resource transport have different requirements for range, refueling/recharging efficiency, cargo capacity, and operating costs. A multi-energy layout helps commercial vehicle companies develop products according to different transport conditions. By using a unified platform architecture to accommodate different power solutions, it can provide greater flexibility for model development and product iteration.
During the development of the all-new Green Intelligent Platform, the team visited 63 cities, conducted in-depth exchanges with more than 700 users, collected more than 2,300 needs and feedback items, and translated these needs into specific development topics.

In terms of technical architecture, the all-new Green Intelligent Platform emphasizes coordinated development of the native physical architecture, native control architecture, and core three-electric systems, while integrating intelligent collaboration, intelligent cockpit, remote diagnostics, and intelligent driving capabilities. Its approach is to consider the matching between the power system, control system, and actual transport scenarios from the platform development stage.
For NEW ENERGY commercial vehicles, a change in power form is only part of product development. How to balance energy consumption, safety, space utilization, and operational efficiency is also related to the actual use value of the vehicle. Platform-based development provides a unified technical foundation for these needs and supports continuous iteration of subsequent models.
From complete vehicle products to operational services.
The five pillars include products, energy replenishment, finance, services, and digital intelligence, forming an overall solution that covers vehicle purchase, energy supply, daily operations, and follow-up services.
Dongfeng Trucks will also provide complete delivery solutions around different transport scenarios, covering vehicles, energy replenishment facilities, finance, services, and digital intelligence capabilities. For transport companies, this model extends the focus from individual vehicle procurement to actual performance after vehicles are put into operation.

At the launch event, the Dongfeng Tianlong KH hydrogen fuel cell tractor and the Dongfeng Tianlong KH battery-electric tractor were unveiled, respectively showcasing the product achievements of the all-new Green Intelligent Platform in the hydrogen and battery-electric fields.
In addition, Dongfeng Trucks reached intended orders for 8,700 units with 10 strategic customers, involving ammonia fuel, hydrogen fuel, battery-electric, intelligent driving, and overseas markets, reflecting that Dongfeng Trucks is further aligning platform technology with specific customer needs and market applications.

18 display vehicles showcase multi-energy layout.
A "Time Corridor" was set up in the outdoor display area of the launch event to review Dongfeng Trucks' 57-year development history. The 18 vehicles displayed on site covered fuel, gas, battery-electric, hydrogen, and ammonia power, targeting transport scenarios such as trunk line logistics, resource transport, agricultural and sideline bulk cargo, and express delivery.
In terms of NEW ENERGY products, the display vehicles included the Dongfeng Tianlong KH hydrogen fuel cell tractor, KH battery-electric tractor, KL battery-swapping and ultra-fast-charging models, and KL pure ammonia hybrid tractor. Among them, the concentrated display of battery-electric, hydrogen, and ammonia power products reflects Dongfeng Trucks' continuous exploration of different NEW ENERGY technology routes.

In the field of intelligentization, Dongfeng Tianlong KH L2+ intelligent driving model and GX Super assisted driving model were displayed on site; for overseas markets, the Dongfeng Tianlong GX Super battery-electric and hydrogen fuel cell tractors were exhibited, with related products developed to meet European regulatory requirements.
In addition to complete vehicles, there were also 9 technical exhibits on site, involving multi-energy, hydrogen, digital intelligence, and platform technologies, including the DAi14 ammonia internal combustion engine, two e-drive axles, a 300 kW hydrogen fuel cell system, two high-safety battery packs, an integrated thermal management module, a domain controller assembly, and the DEA3.0 electronic and electrical architecture.

With the strategic foresight of a central state-owned enterprise, Dongfeng Trucks has laid out multiple power technologies and products in advance. With a forward-developed native architecture, it provides customers with overall solutions and helps China's commercial vehicle industry accelerate its upgrade toward green, intelligent, international, and scaled development.
