The domestic Mercedes-Benz heavy truck offers two models: Actros and Actros C. The Actros is equipped with the latest-generation Mercedes-Benz OM 471 engine and the Mercedes-Benz Powershift 3, a 12-speed AMT gearbox, with power ranging from 420 to 530 horsepower. With its inherently fuel-efficient nature, it achieves the best TCO performance for users, making it a leading choice for ultimate transportation efficiency. The Actros C, based on the Actros product platform, is paired with a dedicated Cummins engine and a ZF 12-speed AMT gearbox, with power ranging from 410 to 580 horsepower. It is calibrated and deeply tuned by the Mercedes-Benz R&D team, achieving lower energy consumption with leading fuel-saving technology in the industry, making it an upgrade choice for all logistics scenarios. But they share one common point: both products adopt the latest-generation Actros platform from Mercedes-Benz, equipped with more leading fuel-saving, intelligent safety, and driving comfort features, tailored to Chinese logistics usage scenarios to meet customers' customization needs, while enjoying world-class heavy truck technology and quality without generational gaps. "In China For China" is our product value proposition, which requires us to develop a truck in China that truly represents the star emblem standard while also meeting Chinese regulations and user needs. My R&D team came to China seven years ago. They are over 200 Mercedes-Benz truck engineers from Germany, the United States, Brazil, Turkey, and India, many of whom were part of the original team that developed the Actros platform. Initially, we did not fully understand some unique needs of Chinese users. To find answers, we repeatedly went deep into user research, and through over 700 customer visits, we continuously updated design solutions based on local user needs. Through dedicated R&D, we ultimately presented these valuable inputs in our products, achieving multiple unprecedented firsts.
