   As a leader in power solutions, Cummins has provided a new generation of QSK19/38 power packages for CSR's new energy shunting locomotives. This series of engine has obtained EU IIIA emission certificate for internal combustion locomotives of the European Union Railway, and realizes better distribution of power and efficient use of energy through intelligent control system.

   In addition to more efficient in-cylinder combustion technology upgrades, technical enhancements to this power package product include:

   Integral ball-ground cast iron pistons with 10-15 percent higher cylinder durability;

   Modular high-pressure common rail fuel system, precision-controlled electronic injectors that can realize multiple injections, smoother combustion process, 50% improvement in idle stability, 50% improvement in cold-start performance, 18% improvement in load response performance, and 80% reduction in noise compared to the previous generation of fuel system engines;

   Fuel filtration system with two-stage filtration of nano-materials ensures reliable operation of the fuel system and 500-hour maintenance intervals;

   Advanced and rich electronic monitoring and processing system to further enhance the efficiency of engine diagnosis.

   This series of power packs has been gradually fitted in all major shunting locomotive lines of China Railway, truly realizing the efficient use of energy, ensuring that the locomotives can provide stable power output under various working conditions, while greatly reducing locomotive emissions and maintaining low-noise operation.
