Industry Judgment: Electrification is a must-answer question, and integrated solutions are the key to breakthrough.
At the release session of United Heavy Truck's global integrated transportation capacity solution, Zhu Hong, Deputy General Manager of Chery Commercial Vehicle and General Manager of United Heavy Truck, said that United Heavy Truck brought two electric heavy trucks, Phoenix BEV and Phoenix REEV, as well as the integrated "vehicle, solar, storage, charging, swapping" solution, to answer the question customers ask most: "In my transportation scenario, how exactly can electrification be made to run?"

For the heavy truck transport industry, electrification is becoming a must-answer question. Zhu Hong analyzed that, on one hand, oil price fluctuations continue to put pressure on vehicle operating costs, and fleets need vehicles with lower operating costs, more stable attendance, and higher operating efficiency; on the other hand, energy replenishment facilities are still incomplete—dedicated fast charging and battery-swapping networks for heavy trucks are insufficiently covered, constraining the large-scale development of electric heavy trucks. "This means better operating economics are driving heavy truck electrification, and integrated solutions are the key to breakthrough."
But for electric heavy trucks to truly become widespread, the industry still needs to solve four practical problems: first, limited onboard battery capacity restricts the operating range of medium- and long-distance transportation; second, long charging times and insufficient coverage of charging and battery-swapping facilities affect vehicle attendance rates; third, in cold regions, low temperatures reduce usable battery capacity and affect vehicle range; fourth, users pay close attention to operating energy consumption, requiring continuous optimization of energy management technology.
From an industry perspective, behind these four thresholds is a shift in the logic of heavy truck electrification competition—from performance comparison of a single product to solution competition centered on customers' real operating scenarios. In response to the above problems, United Heavy Truck has developed two products for different operating scenarios: Phoenix BEV and Phoenix REEV.
Two Stars Debut: Phoenix BEV and Phoenix REEV Cover Diverse Transportation Scenarios.

Phoenix BEV is a pure electric tractor for high-attendance routes, mainly suitable for fixed-route medium- and short-distance resource transportation scenarios. The vehicle is equipped with a 430 kWh battery, a three-speed electric drive axle, a peak power of 400 kW, and supports both charging and battery swapping for energy replenishment. The three-speed electric drive axle can improve transmission efficiency and reduce energy loss; the integrated thermal management system can better address battery capacity degradation in low-temperature environments. In summary, Phoenix BEV has four main advantages: fast energy replenishment, strong climbing ability, controllable energy consumption performance, and good adaptability to cold regions.

Phoenix REEV is a large-battery, small range-extender heavy truck for medium- and long-distance transportation, mainly for cross-regional transportation, and especially suitable for routes where energy replenishment conditions are not yet complete. Phoenix REEV also carries a 430 kWh battery and a three-speed electric drive axle, and adds two key configurations on this basis: a 110 kW range extender and a 200 L diesel fuel tank. As a result, the vehicle supports three energy replenishment methods—charging, battery swapping, and refueling—and adapts to different transport distance requirements through five intelligent control modes. Taking the Beijing-Shanghai route as an example, the total distance exceeds 1,000 km, and a single trip requires no energy replenishment. The core value of Phoenix REEV can be summarized in three keywords: range confidence, flexible replenishment, and good route compatibility.
No single technology route can cover all transportation scenarios. Phoenix BEV and Phoenix REEV target different transportation distances, route conditions, and energy replenishment environments, forming a dual product route of pure electric and range-extended, and matching different customers with product choices better suited to actual operations.
Ecosystem Empowerment: Integrated "Vehicle, Solar, Storage, Charging, Swapping" Solution.
The two products cover different transportation routes, but for electrification to truly land, the energy replenishment system also needs to be improved in parallel. To this end, United Heavy Truck joined hands with Gotion High-tech and Dianlala to bring an integrated "vehicle, solar, storage, charging, swapping" solution.

This solution supports a four-pack linked bottom-mounted side battery-swapping system for tractor and trailer, forming a modular capacity combination of 430 kWh + 430 kWh, and supports 5-minute fast battery swapping; with Dianlala's integrated mobile storage, charging, and swapping solution, no fixed station is needed, infrastructure investment is lower, and equipment can also be dispatched across the entire area through an intelligent cloud platform to achieve cross-time-and-space allocation of green electricity, making it a reality that "wherever low-cost electricity is, the flatbed goes to collect it; wherever the heavy truck stops, the flatbed swaps there," achieving low cost and rapid migration. This solution can also coordinate with wind power, solar power, and energy storage systems, and be flexibly configured according to local energy supply conditions, reducing dependence on traditional power grid infrastructure.
Low investment, rapid deployment, and migratability—through building-block modular and flexible charging and swapping, it fills gaps in the energy replenishment network, making customer replenishment more worry-free. From providing a vehicle to providing a set of transportation capacity solutions built around customers' real operating scenarios, United Heavy Truck is connecting vehicles, energy storage, charging, battery swapping, and renewable energy in coordination, providing a new path reference for the large-scale implementation of heavy truck electrification.
Landing Witness: Delivery of the First Customer Vehicle for the Non-European Transport Corridor and Strategic Cooperation Signing.
At the same time as the launch event, United Heavy Truck held on site the first customer vehicle delivery and strategic cooperation signing ceremony for the non-European transport corridor, completed customer vehicle delivery, and signed a strategic cooperation agreement with partners.

From the global solution launch, to customer vehicle delivery, and then to strategic partner cooperation signing. Behind this is precisely the vivid implementation of United Heavy Truck's globalization philosophy of Chery Group: "In somewhere, For somewhere, Be somewhere."
"Next, we will bring the products and solutions showcased today into more real operating scenarios to be tested by the market," Zhu Hong said. "We always believe that there is no most perfect technology route, only the solution that best suits the customer's operating scenario."
From global layout at the strategic level, to dual-route coverage at the product level, and then to the integrated energy replenishment system at the solution level, United Heavy Truck completed a systematic appearance from strategy and products to ecosystem at this Hannover Motor Show. On the global track of heavy truck electrification, United Heavy Truck is upholding the philosophy of "In somewhere, for somewhere, be somewhere," and with problem-solving thinking close to customers' real operations, it moves forward with the world in every market and for every customer.
