Zhongtong Bus delivers N8 pure electric buses to Hermosillo, Mexico, empowering the green transformation of urban public transport in Latin America

　　Recently, Zhongtong Bus officially delivered a batch of N8 pure electric city buses to Hermosillo, the capital of Sonora, Mexico. This is also the first batch of NEW ENERGY buses introduced locally, opening a new chapter in local public transport electrification.

　　Hermosillo is located in northwestern Mexico. As the urban commuting network continues to expand, the city is accelerating the green upgrade of its public transport. As the city's first batch of NEW ENERGY city buses, the operation of this batch of Zhongtong N8 has truly achieved a zero-to-one breakthrough in zero-emission public transport in Hermosillo, effectively improving urban air quality and helping the city implement its low-carbon development plan.

　　It is reported that after these vehicles are put into operation, they will serve Hermosillo's urban BRT line, connecting arterial roads such as Solidaridad Boulevard, Morelos Boulevard, and Luis Encinas Boulevard, covering 212 communities, 113 schools, and several key medical institutions, bringing local residents a new green and comfortable bus travel experience.

　　In response to Hermosillo's urban road conditions, climate characteristics, and local regulations, Zhongtong Bus has implemented multiple targeted optimizations for this order. Structurally, the body and chassis have been comprehensively strengthened to meet high-intensity operational needs; in response to the local year-round high-temperature climate, the vehicles are equipped with high-power air conditioning to ensure ride comfort.

　　It is worth mentioning that, in order to better meet the travel needs of more groups, this batch of vehicles is built to accessibility standards. The low-entry design, accessible ramps, and the vehicles' kneeling function make it easier for elderly people and special groups to get on and off. At the same time, in accordance with local regulations, the vehicles are equipped with dedicated seats for visually impaired people and guide dog areas, creating a safer and warmer riding environment.
