Hanover, Germany September 22, 2016 17:00 Local Time (23:00 Beijing Time)During the Internationale Automobil-Ausstellung(IAA), a launch ceremony of Auman EST super-trucks was held , about 100 persons including FotonDaimler along with members of Super-truck Global Innovation Union including Daimler AG from Germany, Cummins from the U.S., ZF Fridrichshafen AG from Germany,  Continental AG from Germany as well as users, dealers of heavy trucks around the world were presented.

Foton Daimler choose to hold the global debut ceremony of Auman EST super-trucks in Europe demonstrates its confidence in its products and technologies. “With a lower oil consumption and a higher reliability, Auman EST is able to satisfy the needs of global users and compete with high-end heavy truck brands. I believe, as Auman EST is launched globally, relying on the support of both the shareholding parties in our joint venture and the cooperation with all our premium dealer partners, the market competitiveness of the vehicles of Foton Daimler will be further enhanced and we will enter a brand new super-truck age. ” declared Zhou Liang, president of Foton Daimler Automobiles on the site of the global debut ceremony. 

The acknowledgement of global partners in super-trucks is undoubtedly boosting their faith in Auman EST super-trucks to participate in the future global competition in heavy trucks. In the debut presser, leaders such as Wang Xia, president of Automobile Sub-committee of China Trade Promotion Commission, Gianenrico Griffini, chairman of International Annual Truck Association,  Gong Yueqiong, executive deputy GM of Foton Automobiles and Zhou Liang, president of Foton Daimler Automobiles, along with representatives of the members of Super-truck Innovation Union such as Brett Merritt, executive director of road vehicle business of Engine Business Branch of Cummins, Joachim Holzner, global senior deputy president of Commercial Vehicle Department of ZF FridrichshafenAG, Michael J. Ruf, global president of commercial vehicles of Continental Group, jointly launched the global debut ceremony of Auman EST Super-trucks. 

Jens Hamester, deputy president of R&D of Foton Daimler Automobiles introduced: “After 4-year European research and development and 10-million-kilometer road test, Auman EST Super-trucks realized oil consumption reduction by 5%, reliability enhancement by 26%, intelligentization enhancement by 70%, 208 technological upgrades in 4 great modules such as cabin module, chassis module, power module and electrics module, TCO reduction by 10%-15% and performance breakthrough like super-length service cycle for chassis bridge synchronized 100,000 km ”.

Foton Daimler Automobiles insert the advanced heavy truck technologies and exquisite manufacturing idea of Daimler into Auman EST Super-truck and integrate the leading intelligent technologies of Cummins, ZF and Continental, equipping Auman EST Super-trucks with 6 avant-garde intelligent technologies like “intelligent management of engine, intelligent brake system, intelligent lane assisting system, intelligent electrically-controlled air suspension, intelligent gear-shifting system, intelligent stability control system” to assist global users to intelligently operate with its intelligent system.
