　　Beijing Foton Daimler Automotive Co., Ltd. has a total investment of RMB 6.35 billion and a registered capital of RMB 5.6 billion. It will produce Foton Motor's existing "Foton Auman" medium- and heavy-duty truck products and Daimler-licensed OM457 heavy-duty truck engines with emission standards and power reaching Euro V and 490 hp respectively. Foton Motor will retain the rights to use and ownership of intangible assets such as proprietary technology, patents and brands of the "Auman" medium- and heavy-duty truck products in overseas markets; Daimler will provide technical and expert support to help the joint venture improve product quality and assist in the research and development of new products for the domestic market.

　　Beijing will be the operations center for the two parties' global cooperative business, while joint ventures in Russia and other places will serve as regional production and sales centers.

　　It can be seen that the joint venture between Foton Motor and Daimler is to establish a global operations center "starting from China", and the ultimate goal is clearly "aiming at the world".
