The total project investment exceeded RMB 2.7 billion, with an annual production capacity of up to 400,000 units, making it one of China's largest light-duty diesel engine production bases. The ISF series 2.8-liter and 3.8-liter light-duty inline four-cylinder high-pressure direct-injection diesel engines put into production by Foton Cummins are two future-oriented new-generation fully electronically controlled light-duty diesel engines newly developed by Cummins with huge investment, with a power range of 107-168 horsepower. These two engines feature compact structure, light weight, low noise and low emissions, and can meet Euro III, Euro IV and above emission standards. They are suitable for light trucks, medium trucks, light buses, pickups, MPVs, SUVs and other light vehicles, as well as small construction machinery, small generator sets and other off-road equipment. Foton Cummins is located in Shahe Town, Changping District, Beijing, covering an area of 170,000 square meters, with a plant area of 90,000 square meters. The company was officially established on March 26, 2008, and officially began mass production in June 2009.
