　　FAW Jiefang Qingdao Automobile Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as Qingqi Company) is a wholly owned subsidiary of FAW Jiefang Automobile Co., Ltd., a national large-class-1 enterprise, and one of the top ten enterprise groups prioritized for development in Qingdao. The company currently has more than 5,500 employees and possesses four major processes: stamping, welding, painting, and final assembly. It has eight functional departments, one branch plant (Chengdu Branch), and one wholly owned subsidiary (Shanghai Pudong FAW Jiefang Special Purpose Vehicle Co., Ltd.).

　　Qingqi Company was founded in 1968. In 1993, it joined FAW Group and became its wholly owned subsidiary. In 1994, it completed product model change and began producing Jiefang flat-cab diesel trucks. In 2003, it was incorporated into FAW Jiefang Automobile Co., Ltd.

　　Qingqi Company's leading products are the Jiefang series of light-, medium-, and heavy-duty trucks and various special-purpose and modified vehicles. It is an important production base for Jiefang trucks. After more than 40 years of development, the company has cumulatively produced and sold more than one million vehicles, and has built industry benchmark products such as Xin Dawei, Xin Hanwei, and Sailong. Its LNG and other new energy products are in a leading position in the industry. In 2013, it launched the V-series truck family (Tian V and Han V heavy trucks, Long V medium trucks, and Hu V light trucks), setting an outstanding value benchmark for trucks. In 2014, Qingqi will launch the J6F light truck and JH6 next-generation heavy truck. Its heavy-, medium-, and light-duty product lineup will be further improved, and its market competitiveness will be greatly enhanced.
