Intro

  Steyr Motors Co., Ltd., formerly known as Hubei Boying Investment Co., Ltd., was established in September 1978 and listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in June 1997 (stock code 000760). At the end of 2013, the Company completed a non-public offering and successfully acquired Wuhan Wutong Silicon Valley Paradise Investment Co., Ltd. (renamed as "Steyr Motors (Jiangsu) Investment Co., Ltd."), integrating Austrian Steyr and its profound technical accumulation and R&D strength in the field of high-end diesel engine R&D and manufacturing into the listed company system, initially forming an industrial layout mainly focused on power system supply.

  In May 2014, the Company established a wholly-owned subsidiary, Steyr Motors (Changzhou) Engine Co., Ltd., in Changzhou, and began advancing the diesel engine localization project. In June 2014, the Company's name was changed from "Hubei Boying Investment Co., Ltd." to "Steyr Motors Co., Ltd."

  In February 2015, in order to meet the Company's future strategic deployment in the new energy field and broaden the Company's industrial chain, the Company increased capital in Qinghai Hengxinrong Lithium Technology Co., Ltd. by RMB 153 million and achieved a controlling stake (holding 51% equity), beginning to advance the construction of an 18,000-ton-per-year lithium carbonate project.

  In May 2015, after all equity transfer payments for the major asset restructuring were fully in place, and upon approval by the Gong'an County Administration for Industry and Commerce, the Company transferred 63.28% equity of Hubei Axle Co., Ltd. and 100% equity of Jingzhou Axle Co., Ltd. to the counterparty, completing the asset restructuring.
