Weichai SOFC products efficiently supply electric energy and heat energy, significantly reducing customer energy costs. Yin Bo, deputy general manager of Weifang Energy Group Bintou Distributed Energy Co., Ltd., said: In actual use, Weichai SOFC products operate stably, with a net power generation efficiency of more than 60%. One party of natural gas can generate 6 kilowatt-hour electricity, and can adjust and cut peak and fill valley according to peak and valley electricity prices, which has good economic benefits.

The world's first high-power metal-supported commercial SOFC product released by Weichai this time has a system power of 120kW, supports modular installation, and can expand the power to megawatt level, achieving a major technical breakthrough: 

1. The product's cogeneration efficiency reaches 92.55%, the highest in the world in the high-power SOFC system. 

2. The world takes the lead in using the latest generation of metal-supported SOFC technology. Compared with the traditional electrolyte support and anode support technology, it has the outstanding advantages of low operating temperature and strong thermal shock resistance. In particular, it has achieved a breakthrough in technical difficulties from 800 ℃ to 600 ℃ high temperature. The system can start and stop more than four times as many as the international competitive products, and the starting speed is more than three times as many as the international competitive products, reaching the international leading level. 

3. The product has passed the EU CE certification of the international authoritative testing agency TÜV Nande, and completed 39 full certification tests.

On February 18, 2023, Weichai released the world's first high-power metal-supported commercial SOFC (solid oxide fuel cell) product. The cogeneration efficiency of this product is as high as 92.55%, setting the world's highest efficiency record of high-power SOFC cogeneration system.
