Mitja Schulz, Senior Vice President and General Manager of ZF Commercial Vehicle Steering Systems, stated that the three major global trends in commercial vehicles are intelligent driving, safe driving, and more economical driving. Chinese commercial vehicle users' demands are upgrading, approaching those in Europe and North America, with emphasis on technological sophistication, lifecycle costs, and safety. For intelligent driving, ZF has been working to enhance vehicles' intelligence and perception capabilities, enabling them to sense the environment (See), think and judge based on conditions (Think), and act (Act). ZF's ReAX electric power steering system significantly improves driver comfort and safety, and such advanced features can be realized not only in international truck brands (e.g., Volvo Dynamic Steering) but also in domestic Chinese trucks.
