Now we have arrived at the JAC booth, located at Hall 12, C08. The 300-square-meter booth is themed “For Greener Cities, NOW” and focuses on electrified urban delivery solutions for Europe.

At the center of the booth is the N90 EV, a 9-tonne-class all-electric light truck. It is equipped with a CATL 100.46 kWh battery and a 180 kW electric drive axle, has a WLTP range of 180 km, and with 100 kW fast charging can go from 20% to 80% in 38 minutes.

Next to it are the smaller N42 EV, the all-electric van SUNRAY PRO, and the plug-in hybrid pickup T9 PHEV, whose CLTC combined range reaches 1,000 km.

JAC also has a very practical highlight this time: all four displayed vehicles have been adapted to the latest EU GSR II regulations. Safety features mandated by Europe, such as automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, and blind spot monitoring, all come as standard. In other words, European fleets can register them directly after purchase, with no additional modifications needed at all.

Now we have arrived at the MAN booth, located at Hall 11, D08. This time, MAN’s eTruck all-electric family has made its full debut, with products covering the entire model range from 12 tonnes to 50 tonnes.

The centerpiece of the booth is the new-generation eTGX long-haul tractor unit. Leveraging the EU’s relaxed regulations on zero-emission vehicle lengths, it extends the front overhang by 120 mm to optimize aerodynamics, achieving a range of up to 570 km under long-haul conditions. On the conventional powertrain side, MAN simultaneously unveiled the new-generation D30 PowerLion diesel engine.

Aligned with the booth theme “Simplifying Business,” MAN has used a modular battery solution to bridge products across different tonnage classes, demonstrating a clear path to helping transport companies reduce the adaptation costs of the electrification transition through technological innovation and fully capitalizing on regulatory benefits.

Now we come to the booth of Guanghua Rongchang Intelligent Control Technology Group, located at Hall 24 D02. This time, it mainly brought three major product matrices: intelligent air suspension, intelligent commercial vehicle seats, and intelligent electronic rearview mirrors.

The intelligent air suspension is equipped with a self-developed control unit and high-precision sensors, and can adjust suspension height and stiffness in real time according to road conditions, vehicle load, and driving status. The GSP series intelligent seats add functions such as multi-dimensional electric adjustment and sitting posture health monitoring, further improving comfort for commercial vehicle drivers during long periods of driving.

Another item worth seeing is the intelligent electronic rearview mirror, which supports blind spot warning, rain and fog enhancement, nighttime infrared night vision, and steering assist, and has already passed EU regulatory certification.

From chassis suspension and driver seats to electronic rearview mirrors, the products Guanghua Rongchang brought to Hannover this time all closely center on the actual use experience of drivers and vehicles, and also demonstrate the strength of Chinese intelligent component enterprises in entering the European high-end commercial vehicle supply chain.

Now we have arrived at the Skyworth Auto booth, which is located at Hall 21, B32. This is Skyworth Auto's first time participating in IAA. With the theme “Smart Ecosystem for new era,” it brought five new energy commercial vehicles at once.

The focus at the booth is the globally premiered Z9 intelligent unmanned heavy truck, developed on a pure electric platform and equipped with an L4 autonomous driving system. Also exhibited on the same stand are the G18 L4 unmanned garbage truck, the Urban Elf autonomous shuttle, the Hongtu V9 pure electric VAN, and the Hongtu X range-extended chassis. Among the five exhibition vehicles, three have L4 intelligent driving capabilities.

As a first-time exhibiting brand, Skyworth Auto has introduced its “hardware + ecosystem” logic from the consumer electronics field into commercial vehicles, and showcased in a concentrated manner its multi-scenario new energy and intelligent layout covering trunk lines, sanitation, shuttle, and urban distribution.

Now we come to the EVE Energy booth, located at Hall 21, D25. The focus of this display is the open-source battery brand EVE Open Source Battery and battery system solutions for commercial vehicles.

The commercial vehicle battery pack on site uses top-and-bottom liquid cooling technology and supports megawatt-level constant-current ultra-fast charging. Official data shows that charging from 10% to 80% takes about 18 minutes. The cells support 3C ultra-fast charging, achieving 20% to 80% in as little as 15 minutes, and support low-temperature charging at minus 30 degrees Celsius.

Another highlight is the CTB battery system. Through a frameless, highly integrated design, official data shows it can help reduce the entire vehicle's weight by more than 5%. For commercial vehicles that are highly sensitive to load, the weight saved by the battery also means more payload capacity can be reserved.

At this exhibition, EVE Energy not only showcased the hardcore specifications of its cells, but also, through the system integration format of "cells + battery packs + thermal management + ultra-fast charging," demonstrated a new approach to empowering European OEMs and upfitters.
