Preview of the 2026 Hannover International Commercial Vehicle Show: Many domestic vehicle companies, new energy start-ups, and energy supporting enterprises have confirmed their participation. Leading brands such as Jiefang, Foton, BYD, and SANY Heavy Truck all appear, while Shandong Heavy Industry Group participates with a multi-brand lineup. Now we come to the FAW Jiefang booth, located at Hall 24, Booth B10. At IAA 2026, under the theme "Engineering the Next Horizon (Craftsmanship Reaches Far)," FAW Jiefang has ingeniously turned its exhibition area into a "Time Corridor."

At the start of the corridor is parked a vintage vehicle full of memories of an era—the Jiefang CA10, which rolled off the line in 1956. Its classic green paintwork and retro rivets, together with the three-dimensional lettering "China's First Automobile," make it very eye-catching. At the other end of the corridor is an all-new future-oriented concept car, creating a dialogue across time and space.

In the product exhibition area, the most eye-catching display is the CORTRON CS series, launched with great fanfare for the European market, including the CS600, CS600 XXL fuel-powered tractor units and the CS925 battery-electric tractor unit. On the other side of the booth, nine self-developed core powertrain domain assemblies, including the GD300 and ER540, are also showcased.

Overall, FAW Jiefang not only showcases a profound historical heritage, but also demonstrates the technological strength of a Chinese commercial vehicle brand going global.

Now we have arrived at the Dongfeng Motor booth, located at Hall 12, C20. At this edition of IAA 2026, Dongfeng's exhibition theme is "With DONGFENG, Drive HYDROGEN (Ride Dongfeng, Go with Hydrogen)," and it will focus its display on hydrogen energy technology and applications.

Dongfeng has brought three hydrogen-powered commercial vehicles this time, including two hydrogen heavy trucks and one hydrogen light truck, respectively targeting application scenarios such as long-haul trunk heavy-load transport, resource transportation, and urban cold-chain distribution.

This time, it also showcased the T1 commercial vehicle new energy platform, which adopts a modular architecture and is compatible with multiple technology routes such as pure hydrogen, hydrogen-electric hybrid, and pure electric, further demonstrating Dongfeng's diversified layout in the field of new energy commercial vehicles.
