The history of the Wörth plant dates back to 1960 when the former Daimler-Benz company purchased an industrial area of about 1.5 million square meters, located in the Wörth district near Karlsruhe. Today, the Wörth plant covers an area of 2.4 million square meters, with pure production areas occupying around 480,000 square meters. This is a place where up to 470 trucks are produced daily. Approximately 60% of products are exported to over 150 countries. In Europe, nearly one-third of trucks in the 6.5 to 16-ton class come from the Mercedes-Benz Wörth plant.
