Recently, China Bus Information Network released the 2026 first-half new energy bus export statistics. BYD topped the list with 2,233 units exported, capturing a 22.15% market share — the only company in the industry to exceed 2,000 units in the first half. Amid the global green transportation transition, BYD has maintained steady growth, securing the annual new energy bus export crown for three years running.

　　BYD electric buses have achieved a comprehensive global presence, simultaneously penetrating high-end and emerging markets across multiple continents. As of the end of June, in the demanding European market, BYD has delivered over 7,000 pure electric buses in total. In the UK alone, over 2,700 BYD buses are already in operation, accounting for 45% of the country's zero-emission bus market.

　　In the Americas, BYD continues to achieve multi-point breakthroughs and maintain its leading position. In Colombia, BYD has over 1,500 buses in service, ranking first in market share. In Brazil, since starting local production of electric bus chassis in 2015, BYD has been steadily expanding its presence. In June this year, BYD delivered 265 electric buses in a single batch to São Paulo, setting a new record for the largest single delivery of heavy-duty electric buses in Brazil. Leveraging its localization strategy and technological expertise, BYD has long led Brazil's imported electric bus market in brand share. Meanwhile, in the Middle East and Africa, steady progress continues, with orders being delivered in Morocco, the UAE, and other countries.

　　In the Asia-Pacific region, BYD's business covers Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Australia, and beyond, where its buses have become a mainstream model for public transportation electrification. Currently, BYD has over 500 electric bus orders in Japan, with a market share exceeding 50%, ranking first in the industry.
