　　Dongfeng Automobile Co., Ltd. was founded on July 15, 1999, exclusively initiated by Dongfeng Motor Corporation and established through public offering. The "Dongfeng Automobile" stock was listed and traded on the Shanghai Stock Exchange on July 27, 1999. The Company currently has two branches, the Automobile Branch and the Casting Branch, and several controlled subsidiaries including Dongfeng Cummins Engine Co., Ltd., Dongfeng Yulon Motor Sales Co., Ltd., and Dongfeng Xiangfan Station Wagon Co., Ltd.

　　The Company takes the core of the automotive industry—"complete vehicles and powertrains"—as its main business and is mainly engaged in the development, design, manufacturing, and sales of Dongfeng series light commercial vehicles and Dongfeng Cummins series diesel engines. Its leading products are Dongfeng light commercial vehicles, which have fully independent intellectual property rights and overall performance at a leading level in China, and Dongfeng Cummins diesel engines, which feature introduced technology and excellent performance, including light commercial vehicles such as "Dongfeng Xiaobawang," "Dongfeng Duolika," "Dongfeng Mengka," "Dongfeng Star," "Dongfeng Xintianyou," "Dongfeng Xiaoka," and "Dongfeng Lotus," Dongfeng Cummins B and C series diesel engines, and "Dongfeng Meihua" castings.
