　　As a major player in the global transport sector, Iveco holds an internationally leading position in the development, manufacturing, marketing and servicing of various types of light, medium and heavy commercial vehicles.

　　Iveco also produces buses and special vehicles, such as special-purpose vehicles for military, civil defense, firefighting and other applications. Iveco vehicles use the latest engineering technology and can be equipped with a range of engines using diesel or alternative fuels, including compressed natural gas (CNG), biofuels, blended fuels and electric engines.

　　Iveco also provides a range of financial and after-sales services, as well as used-vehicle services.

　　Iveco (China) Commercial Vehicle Sales Co., Ltd. was established in 2012. It is one of the four pillars of Iveco's global strategy and an important implementer of its strategy and business in China. Its mission is to import high-end commercial vehicle products produced in Europe into China, while also exporting products of Iveco's joint ventures in China to overseas markets through Iveco's global sales network.

　　In addition, Iveco actively pursues a localization strategy, producing a full range of commercial vehicles through its joint ventures established in cooperation with SAIC. Among them, Nanjing Iveco's two plants in Nanjing manufacture light commercial vehicles and light buses, while SAIC Iveco Hongyan in Chongqing produces heavy trucks.

　　Iveco's History in China

　　Iveco was the earliest international commercial vehicle manufacturer to enter China:

　　In 1985, it entered the Chinese market and signed a technology transfer agreement with NAC (Nanjing Automobile (Group) Corporation) to produce light commercial vehicles.

　　In 1991, the first TurboDaily production line was completed, and Iveco began its ambitious investment plan in China's automobile industry.
